Snag Golf
SNAG golf which stands for ‘Start New At Golf’ is all about having fun and learning the basics of golf. Here at Guernsey Golf School we offer six camps throughout the year aimed at our younger pupils from the ages of five. SNAG golf was developed in the USA following years of research and field experience into the most constructive environment to introduce juniors to the game of golf. SNAG has its own equipment, its own rules and throughout each camp junior pupils will take part in fun games aimed at improving the motor skills essential to learning golf.

Group Lessons (Commitment program)
The 12 month commitment programme is an excellent way for juniors to begin their golf coaching. It is divided into five week modules with each module consisting of four hours of coaching followed by a competition on the final day. Each module is then divided into four groups depending on ability and experience. Throughout each module juniors will learn the fundamentals of the set-up, the golf swing, pitching, chipping and putting. They will then get the chance to put their skills to the test with a nine hole competition (with parents as caddies!) which takes place on the following Sunday of every module.

One to one coaching is available with any of our school professionals. We offer a range of packages to suit every individual, half
hour lessons, on-course playing lessons, and we also use video technology and Junior Explanar so pupils benefit from professional advice and top of the range equipment. To find out more about or book individual coaching lessons please contact us on: 253432 or please click here

Teams and Matches
As with many young sportsmen and women a little team competition is always good to stimulate further focus and enjoyment of the sport. Here at the School the team work closely with La Grande Mare Golf Club to provide players not only of good ability but more importantly players who enjoy competing and representing their clubs.
As our pupils skills increase and for those who show a willing to wish to compete then we organise regular matches against other clubs and invite our pupils to participate once ready.
