Hitting the ground first ??

Hitting the ground first ? ? ? A common fault for the club golfer. heres a simple remedy..... Swing to the top of your backswing and check that your left shoulder is over your right foot. This ensures you have transferred your bodyweight on the backswing and helps increase a shallower swing down into the ball thus eliminating the club striking the turf first. Try it and see how it works.....

The All Important Basics

Beginner? Regular player? Top level amateur? Professional? Never under estimate the power of the basics. You may be in possession of an excellent golf swing but without good solid basics the ball will not find the target on a regular basis. Count to FIVE !!!! and remember the following....... One = Aim the club head, Two = Grip the club correctly, Three = Understand the ball position, Four = Align your body correctly to your target, Five = Take a good, athletic posture position

Backswing Essentials

Look for the things all the tour pros have in common. Ensure you have transferred your body weight onto your back foot at the top of the swing and that your glove hand shoulder is over your back foot. Exercise swinging without a ball taking the club to the top of the swing and checking for..........SHOULDER OVER BACK FOOT. WEIGHT TRANSFERRED TO BACK FOOT...

Follow Through

The fruits of your labour ! Make a good set up, complete your backswing and these things will in turn allow for a successful and full follow through. Everyones finish to the swing is different but check the following.....Body weight on the front side of your body (none on the back foot). Club behind your back and hands over your shoulders.
